May 27th, 2022 will forever be etched in our hearts, it's the day we lost Brad's dad Jerry.
He passed away very suddenly, and very peacefully at home. While it was a shock to us all, we are so very grateful he did not suffer.
This picture below was on Easter, a month before he passed. We are so happy we were able to have everyone at our house as it was a last minute plan!
Jerry farmed his whole life, and was born on the farm they lived on. Some of my best memories growing up, were on my Grandma and Grandpa Malherek's farm and I am so grateful our girls have those same type of memories living next door to Brad's homeplace.
Jerry loved his family so much, and the way he loved Kitty is something we will always cherish. And I tell you what, those grandkids were his world!
And they loved him just as much.
Even Josie loved her Papa Jerry!
While celebrating the holidays this year won't be the same, we know he is always near, looking down with his shit ass grin on his face!
