Friday Favorites- Halloween Edition!

It's that time again to link up with Erika for Friday Favorites!

This week FLEW by.  Brad has been gone since Wednesday and comes home today.  We haven't really been gone at night, which has been wonderful!

Tonight we have the Halloween bus which will be a lot of fun, it's a Disney theme this year, so I am going as Belle and Brad is Dopey.  We couldn't find a Beast costume...oh well, there will be other dwarfs, so he'll fit right in!

Here are some Halloween favorites for this week...

Alayna and I made some treats for her dance class.  She is in a hip hop dance on Monday nights and LOVES it!

Here is her class, she didn't want to dress up though...

Tuesday night Rachel and Brad went to watch varsity volleyball play the first play off game so the younger two and I carved pumpkins and watched, "The Family Stone", LOVE that movie!

Alayna's pumpkin was feeling a little ill...

Finished products!

She also made a Frankenstein card and wrote a little note for Grandpa Beepa.

I checked the Hallmark movie channel website and got excited to see that their new "season" of Christmas movies starts on Halloween!!  I'm thinking Sunday might be a movie day for us, haha!

We got some more pics back from our photo shoot on Saturday and although this one isn't my favorite, I still love it.  Love this man!

Love my girls!

Friday Favorites

As usual, I am linking up with Erika for Friday Favorites!

First of all, just a little public service announcement.......

I can't even believe Christmas is so close!  I have bought a few gifts already, gotta get started early!

This was a craaaaaazy busy week as it is Rachel's last week of volleyball and she had 3 games, one being 2 hours away.  Ugh.

1.

Last Saturday we had a baby shower for a friend of ours' daughter.  She actually babysat for us and now my girls can babysit for her, haha!

2.

I love this pic....Brad was gone for 7 days goose hunting in Canada and came home Saturday.  We had a fire pit area poured last week, so Brad and Rachel went to check it out and were gone for about 45 minutes.  I looked out the window and saw them standing there chatting.  Rach missed her dad!

3.

Emma and Alayna got Jazz to jump in the leaves with them, hilarious!

4.

This was the last week of volleyball.  Praise Jesus.  It was so fun to watch Rachel play this year, we cannot wait for club season to start (ok maybe our wallets can wait...)!

5.
Brad and I are having a day date on Sunday.  Rachel needs a desk, so we're going to hit up IKEA and then Trader Joes.  Oh my word I'm STOKED!!!!

Friday Favorites

Linking up again with Erika for Friday Favorites!

This is pretty much what it looks like around here, so beautiful!  Today is going to be a cold one, 45 degrees for a high!  The girls are off for MEA, so today is filled with Orthodontist appts, chiropractor appts and Target.  Ugh, Target.  Must.stick.to.list....

This is where I wish I was....Duluth.  Love this city in the fall.

We did a mini vacation 3 years ago right when the colors were in full peak, SO beautiful!

I had so much fun guest posting for Beth and her "Girl Mom" series, make sure to check it out!

We had a fire pit area poured this week and I'm so excited to use it!

And here is a pic of my sweet Maci, just because.  Happy Friday!

Our Weekend

We had an absolutely AMAZING weekend!  Right now I am off on Fridays, so Friday was my "get caught up" day.  However, now that we are home most weekends, there really wasn't a whole lot to get caught up on.  Emma's BFF Kyleigh came and spent the weekend with us, they always have so much fun and she is truly my 4th daughter!
Saturday I decided to use up one of our gift cards and took them to Olive Garden.  So yummy!  After lunch we ran to Target for one thing and came out with $120 worth of stuff...seriously.  Although in my defense, I wanted to get snow pants and gloves while there was still a selection.

After Target we went to the Collegeville Apple Orchards to walk through their pumpkin patch and shop the store.  They had some live music (he played the hammered dulcimer, dad!)

It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day, except for the dive bombing lady bugs...ugh.

After the orchard we visited a stick house outside of St. Johns that was man made a few years back.  Alayna wanted me to get a picture of her jumping off the rock, haha...

She cracks me up!

The rest of the weekend was spent hanging out, it really was a glorious weekend!  This week is a busy one, so I think we all needed the down time.

Happy Friday!

Good Friday morning!  It's been a hot minute since I've posted, yowsa.  If these children of mine would slow down, I could enjoy some computer time, haha!

It's FALL!!!  I love this season for so many reasons, the crisp air, the colors, the foods, the sounds, love it all!

We are so fortunate to live in the country, this is our back yard, quiet and peaceful...

Our Halloween tree is definitely a favorite of mine , I have a couple trees like this that come out for the holidays and I love it!  And for the record, so does my dad, *snort*!

Who doesn't love fall candles??  I stocked up at Yankee when they had their buy one get one free.

We've been enjoying watching Rachel play volleyball, she is having a blast, and their team is really good (they have the best record of all the volleyball teams in school right now!).  It isn't a season without an injury though, Rachel either sprained or broke her toe.  It's quite swollen and she borrowed Grandmas boot to wear so she doesn't bend it.  She won't be playing tonight which is a bummer, but hopefully she'll be up and running next week!

Love this pic of these 2 BFF'S!

One thing I'm excited about is a guest post I am doing next Thursday, I will share the link when it's up, but it was fun reminiscing about these three hooligans...

And lastly, I am SO thankful for the friends that our girls have!  This is Emma with her BFF'S and they are such a great group of girls, love them!
